On October 9th, local time, the "China Jiangxi Kenya Investment and Trade Cooperation Promotion Conference" hosted by the People's Government of Jiangxi Province was held in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya. Ren Zhufeng, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Executive Vice Governor of Kenya, attended and delivered a keynote speech. Kenneth Makri Lusaka, Governor of Pengoma, Kenya, Abubaka Hassan Abubaka, Executive Deputy Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry of Kenya, and Joan Chepkome, Director of the Kenya Investment Promotion Agency, attended the promotion meeting and delivered speeches.

On behalf of the provincial government, Mount Everest warmly welcomes the guests attending the event. He summarized Jiangxi as an open and important place, an ecological treasure land, a cultural blessing land, and a development highland, and introduced that Jiangxi is a desirable place. He also reviewed the history of economic and trade exchanges, cooperation, and cultural exchanges between Jiangxi and Kenya. He pointed out that Jiangxi is an active participant in China Kenya cooperation for mutual benefit and win-win. There is huge potential for cooperation between Jiangxi and Kenya, and he hopes that both sides can work together to create more landmark projects in infrastructure construction, and make mutual efforts in economic and trade cooperation, expanding cooperation in areas such as culture, tourism, medical care, and education.

At the meeting, representatives from well-known business associations such as the National Chamber of Commerce of Kenya and representatives from Jiangxi Geological Construction Investment Group Co., Ltd. and other Gan enterprises made exchange speeches. Jiangxi International Chamber of Commerce signed memorandums of cooperation with the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kenya and the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce of Kenya respectively (Yang Weihua, Chairman of our company, signed memorandums of cooperation with the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kenya on behalf of Jiangxi International Chamber of Commerce), and middling coal Construction Group Co., Ltd. and China Jiangxi International Economic and Technological Cooperation Co., Ltd. signed cooperation agreements with Kosye Tea Co., Ltd. and Kenyatta University Hospital respectively.

This event was jointly organized by the Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade (Jiangxi International Chamber of Commerce), Provincial State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, Kenya Investment Promotion Bureau, and Kenya National Chamber of Commerce. More than 200 representatives from relevant Kenyan government agencies, well-known business associations, and key enterprises participated in the promotion meeting.
