On October 13th local time, the China Jiangxi Zambia Investment and Trade Cooperation Promotion Conference was held in the Central Province of Zambia. Zambian President Hakand Hichilema attended the event and delivered a speech, while Jiangxi Provincial Committee member and Executive Vice Governor Ren Zhufeng attended and delivered a speech.

Chinese Ambassador to Zambia Du Xiaohui, Zambian Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry Chiboka Mulanga, and Governor of Central Province Princess Kasuni attended the promotion conference and delivered speeches. Zambian Foreign Minister Stanley Kakubo, Minister of Information Cornelius Mvitwa and other officials from relevant Zambian departments, as well as more than 200 representatives from associations, enterprises, and media, participated in the event. Our Chairman Yang Weihua was invited to attend.

Xiqilema warmly welcomes the delegation from Jiangxi.   The recent visit of the Jiangxi delegation to Zambia is a vivid practice of deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Zambia. I hope that this promotion conference will serve as an opportunity to further deepen friendly exchanges and practical cooperation between the two regions, and jointly create a better future.

Ren Zhufeng gave a comprehensive introduction to the history, culture, and economic and social development of Jiangxi, and deeply reviewed the friendship between Jiangxi, China and Zambia. He pointed out that deepening investment and trade cooperation between the two regions, Jiangxi and Zambia have a solid foundation, broad space, and full sincerity. He hopes that the two regions can strengthen communication and exchange, increase cooperation efforts, deepen mutual friendship, and jointly sing the main theme of China Zambia cooperation, creating new brilliance in China Zambia cooperation.

The signing intention amount for this promotion conference is about 320 million yuan, and the unveiling ceremony of Zambia Jiangxi Economic Cooperation Zone was also held.
